Air Quality and Lichen

    What I observed was that the trees with more than one type of lichen on it had a nuetral PH level compared to the PH levels of bark with one or none.

The results of this project was that Lichen does help the interpretation of air quality, also the data collection was comparable to Chicago's air quality range over all.

       The project could have been improved with more a more acquired way of taking the bark PH and with a greater range of  area to record from.

     Othere citizens can help by doing the project in other envirments and comparing both for air quality diffrence, or proceeding with the same project.
